Oh, and Robot Chicken? Traumatizing.
We also get into the emotional side of growing up — from scary movies we weren’t ready for 👻 to mall stores our parents would never let us shop at (justice for Libby Lou, Build-A-Bear, and American Girl Dolls ✨). We share the stories of our older siblings shaping our cool-girl aesthetics, our complicated relationships with school 📚, confidence, and perfectionism... and the big question: if we could go back, would we do anything differently?
And in this week’s Healing Hotline, we’re helping a young listener who knows it’s time to break up with her boyfriend of 3 years but doesn’t feel strong enough to do it. 💔 She’s 24, surrounded by people getting married, and feeling so alone.
