This Sunday we started a new series on Jesus's interactions with women in the Gospels. We began with the story of Jesus's visit to the home of Martha and Mary. Jesus said that Mary had done the "one thing needed" and that it should not "be taken from her." We considered the counter-cultural significance of Jesus' words.
