Just over a year ago, mainstream AI hit the ground running and it seems like since then everyone is talking about it and experimenting with it. It also feels like some of the initial fears and concerns have mellowed out a bit. But to be clear, AI and ML or machine learning are not new concepts and some companies have been using them for years if not decades, long before they were cool and all over the news. But most of these companies were using highly specialized and trained models around key applications or solutions.
