Michael Reed, former professional American soccer player, joins Footy Parlor’s fourth episode for a conversation on coaching and developing youth soccer in the United States. Michael began his professional career in the NASL at Minnesota United and Atlanta Silverbacks. Then, he joined USL Championship clubs San Antonio FC, and Nashville SC – where he was the first captain in club history ahead of the MLS seasons – before ending his professional career at Memphis 901. In this episode, we discussed his recent coaching experiences, developing the next generations of American coaches and players and how the soccer culture can grow in the United States.
