Bronson Kaufusi and MattyP welcome Lisa Turner, Harris Investment Group’s Chief Administration Officer, to the HIG Podcast! Lisa was Jason Harris’ first official investor, Harris Investment Group’s first official employee, and Jason’s first (and only) official mother-in-law.
Lisa knows real estate. When she was a child, her father owned apartment complexes where she learned the ins and outs of property ownership and management. After managing her father’s properties, Lisa and her husband, Jim, decided to buy their first investment property in 1999, and have used real estate to generate their financial momentum throughout their entire marriage.
14 years (and a number of investment properties) later, Lisa found herself in her kitchen discussing an investment opportunity with her newly acquired son-in-law, Jason. Eager to get into the investing world and apply all the knowledge he had gained, Jason was committed to find a way to make this opportunity work.
