Sarah says that by getting your values and expectations inline with your employees is vital. Culture where there is a lot of flexibility can also cause the most conflict. She believes you will find that people will stay with you if they earn good money out of the business as well, as people leave when they feel unappreciated or undervalued.
Building entrepreneurial staff is important. Your apprentice or employee has to have an understanding of what is expected of them in order to get a wage increase, and how building their client list is beneficial to you both. Teaching apprentices & employees business skills is advantageous as they will work more efficiently and bring skills to your business that you may lack yourself.
