In our last lesson, we discussed copyright.

Today we’ll talk about mobile analytics.

The YouTube Studio mobile app gives you at-a-glance, in-depth

analytics to help you analyze your videos and channel.

From the mobile Dashboard, you get a quick glance at your

overall channel analytics.

You can see your current subscribers and a summary of your

watch time, views, and subscriber change in the last 28 days.

Just below this, you can see the performance of your latest

video compared to your typical video performance.

You’ll see how it ranks against your last ten videos, along

with its views, average view duration, and watch time (with

comparisons against your typical video performance).

This will also give you some insights into why your video is

performing the way it is.

Tap this insight to dig into your video’s performance.

The analytics page will give you even more information about

your channel or individual video performance.

Tap the menu icon at the top left, then choose Analytics. Or

you can tap ā€œView Moreā€ from any section of your dashboard.

If you want to understand an individual video’s performance,

tap it from your channel’s analytics, or go to the Videos page,

search for the video, tap it, then tap ā€œGo to Video Analytics.ā€

The Overview tab is your starting point. This will give you

real-time views and information, along with watch time, views,

average view duration, and more.

There is also a Discovery tab, which gives you insight into how

viewers are discovering your content.

You can see your impressions and click-through rates here,

along with information about your traffic sources (like your top

YouTube search terms and the top videos suggesting your content).

You can use the Audience tab of Analytics to learn more about

who is watching your videos, like their gender, age, and what

country they’re watching from.

The Interactive Content tab gives you information about your

cards.

At the channel level, the Playlists tab gives you insights

into your playlist views and engagement, with a list of your

top playlists. If you’re monetizing, the Revenue tab will

show you data around your estimated revenue, top earning

videos, and more.
