In this conversation, personal trainer Kate Borman shares her insights on maintaining healthy eating and fitness routines during the holiday season. She emphasizes the importance of planning, consistency, and self-compassion, especially when it comes to navigating holiday temptations.

Kate has been a personal trainer for 11 years at Fitness Together in Lake Forest Illinois. She graduated from the university of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a bachelors in kinesiology with an emphasis in human performance and holds a Certified Strength and Conditioning coach certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). She has been interested in the field of fitness and nutrition for as long as she can remember and played every sport she could growing up, ultimately going on to play collegiate golf.  She has a passion for helping people reach their fitness goals and live healthier lives through many different workout styles. She believes that one’s health is heavily influenced by lifestyle choices and enjoys coaching people on how to make slight lifestyle modifications to see beneficial and long term results for overall health and wellness.
