Welcome to Up, Up, and Whoa: A Superman Showdown, the movie review podcast where we pit two very different versions of the Man of Steel against each other in a battle for superhero supremacy!
On one side, we have the iconic 1978 Superman, where Christopher Reeve basically defined "good guy" for generations, and on the other, we have Man of Steel (2013), where Zack Snyder took Superman to the extreme, made him broody, and got him in more fistfights than a bar at happy hour. Is one version truly more heroic, or is this just a case of "old-school charm vs. angry, CGI-fuelled destruction"?
Spoiler: We’re still trying to figure that out.
