My guests today are Michael Lorek and Karen Piotrowski the founders of Maitreya, an intentional, off-grid eco-community which is located in the mountains Southern Spain. Together they are creating an open and a non-judgmental, no-harm approach of life. The community holds a loving and compassionate environment for its members and strives to live in harmony with each member  and the surrounding world.

Maitreya is a place for transformational living and a healing biotope, that supports inner growth and the sustainable way of life. The community is guided by the ethics of permaculture as they strive for a harmonious coexistence with nature.

Michael leads the people at Maitreya, in making sure that everything runs and flows properly. He studied a variety of subjects, from Waldorf Pedagogy, Yoga and Permaculture. His philosophy is to embody knowledge and do conscious and dedicated work everyday. Michael or Michi as he is known to everyone a the community is a Certified Yoga teacher and a Waldorf Educator

Karen has dedicated her life to understanding why humans often find themselves trapped in lives that are not the reality of what their souls want to experience, finding the tools to break those patterns and writing a new story. Karen is a Certified Trauma Informed Yoga teacher, Sound Healer, Dynamic Healing and  Certified Coach in Breathwork and Somatics
