This episode is basically a commentary on a recent article of mine which I published on Medium titled "We Will Always Be Hypocrites, And That's OK."
I've been mulling over this issue of hypocrisy over the past year. And while we seem to fear being called a hypocrite a lot as it brings so much discomfort, finding out where you are being hypocritical is actually vital for our learning. Maybe we should have the courage to embrace this fear if we really want to learn?
I really love Ayn Rand's response to the saying “Judge not, lest ye be judged.”She turns this on its head and changes the principle to:
“Judge, and be prepared to be judged.”
