Diedra has played pool since she was 3 years old. Over the years she’s played in big tournaments against the likes of Allison Fisher, Jeanette Lee(The Black Widow), just to name a few. She has always loved the game and dedicated herself to playing the right way. Whether it was 8 ball, 9 ball, Women’s, or Co-Ed, she has always proven to be a true stand out player, with excellent shooting ability, cue ball control, and an overall aura of confidence that she takes to the table each and every game.
I was lucky enough to record part of a phone call with my mother. We were just catching up, and the conversation quickly turned to our mutual passion, Pool. It was insightful and really cool to hear how my mother talks about the game, how she keeps it real, and gives true perspective to the discipline and focus that pool requires.
7/1 happens to be her birthday, so happy birthday & I love you to the moon and back momma. Also 7/1 is the birthday to The Keep Going Podcast, meant to be!
