The GREATS.
This chapter in Hebrews is about the GREATS of the Bible that WALKED with God.
They heard his voice, obeyed, prayed and LIVED a life of FAITHFULNESS.
“They were looking for a better place, a heavenly homeland.” Hebrews 11:16
They ALL had an eternal perspective. Knowing their lives on earth were BRIEF compared to eternity with God. They LIVED in a way that REFLECTED this in their lives.
They KNEW the REAL PROMISED LAND was NOT on EARTH, but in HEAVEN.
Our job is to bring Gods Kingdom to earth to ABIDE in our lives and SHARE this with others.
What do YOU want to be KNOWN for?
Do you live in such a way that answer would be TRUTH?
