TODAY: JUST ME Author Pamela Downs
In a world that often demands so much of each of us, even when we’re little, sometimes it’s important to take a moment to appreciate who we truly are. Inspired by text written by her then seven-year-old daughter, this sweet and heartfelt poem reminds children to celebrate the little things in life that make each of us unique.
Although Pamela studied creative writing and dabbled in poetry and short stories, it was only after having her children that she finally found the courage and inspiration to turn her own pen to paper. “Just Me,” Pamela’s first book, was inspired by and celebrates her daughter’s fearless independence and self-confidence.
