TODAY: Waxhaw, NC Mayor Robert Murray
It reads like a Hallmark movie: man with a mechanical engineering background uproots his family from California and heads to a little city he's never been to in the South that he suddenly finds himself the Mayor of. He now divides his time as an engineer, husband, father and mayor. Trying to maintain balance, developing new technologies while serving as mayor, and working to preserve the character of his new home.
We're also talking about Waxhaw's Autumn Treasures Festival that takes place this weekend. I'll be there emceeing the event both Saturday (10-6pm) and Sunday (12-6pm)
