Writing A Book With Dyslexia with Emily Davis
Emily always loved to write, having written fanfictions, short stories, and even a couple attempts at full books. Writing and being creative had always been an enriching part of her life.Emily didn't really plan on writing a book about the Fox Drakes in the beginning. The Drakes had started out as just artdolls that she had fun making. And slowly, characters started sticking like Ashling and Locket. They were the founding characters of Guardians and Keepers of Myth.When Emily started finally writing the book, it was because the story she was thinking of for the Drakes was taking on paths of its own and she had to write it down. It had a few false starts, and it was a struggle with dyslexia messing up some of the words she wrote, but the experience was just so much fun!
