Jeff Deskovic was wrongfully imprisoned for 16 years - from age 17 to 32 - prior to being exonerated by DNA evidence that identified the actual perpetrator. He has since become a lawyer and started The Jeffrey Deskovic Foundation for Justice, a non-profit organization, which has freed 14 people and help pass 3 laws, and another 6 as key members of the national coalition group, "It Could Happen To You".
