POV: Your Social Feed Says You’re Falling Behind :')

It’s so easy to get caught up in the endless scroll of someone else’s success—whether it’s the influencer flaunting a six-figure business or your friend who seems to be ticking off every milestone you never even dreamed about.

Over the years, I’ve caught myself asking…
Why am I not further ahead?
Am I doing something wrong if I’m not a “rich girlie” by 25?

But here’s the truth I’ve learned:

Success isn’t always what it seems.

Between social media highlight reels and the real-life pressures of inflation, climbing the corporate ladder, or figuring out a side hustle, it’s easier than ever to confuse someone else’s version of “making it” with your own. We get stuck chasing a formula or aesthetic for success, forgetting to ask, What do I actually want?

In this video, I explain into why Gen Z’s obsession with success can be more about survival than ambition, how comparison can rob you of your originality, and why your biggest motivator might be shame rather than genuine passion.

I also talk about how defining success on your own terms can set you free from the relentless grind.

Because if you’re not careful, you’ll wake up living someone else’s dream—and wonder why you’re still not happy.
