Meditating first thing in the morning is the ideal. It is the time when our minds have not been clouded by the to-do list, the news or the demands of the household, when our brain is still in its receptive, creative and peaceful alpha wave state, and when we have the chance to set ourselves up for the best possible day. Setting our intention first thing, with meditation, is such a powerful tool and brings a wonderful awareness to our day. It gives us a chance to connect with ourselves, to centre ourselves and to simply start the day right!
Even if you don't do this full meditation every day, take some small part of it and include it into your wake up routine - you owe yourself that time!
