As a culture we often use the "balance" mindset as something that enables us to make choices that do not support how we ultimately want to feel. Is it truly balanced when we choose food choices that are harmful, filled with toxic chemicals and additives for a treat? Why are we told that we need to reward a hard day, achievement, a night out, a cozy movie night in, a celebration, a sporting event and on and on with "treats" and balance?
