Ever doubted God?
You're lying if you said you haven't. I think we've all had moments where we wonder, "God, just what ARE You doing?"
Gideon DEFINITELY had those moments. Several, actually, and they are recorded in Judges Chapters 6-8.
WHY do you think God included his story of doubt, disbelief, and even displeasure with the Lord?
To let us know that it is O.K. to be human. It's normal to have some doubts. BUT; it's NOT OK to dwell on them and let them consume you. Because He WILL come through. Always has, always will.
And of course, God proves it in this story just like He does EVERYWHERE else in His Word. There's a reason why His Word has stood the test of time for thousands of years!
