Husky Talk- MMA Report returns with "The Marauder" Tyler King, all he does is train, teach class, and beat that ass. Tyler has been working with several fighters who have potential to be successful in some of the better promotions.
We review UFC 308 and Tyler provides the expert analysis he is known for. Chris Barnett suffered a disappointing loss to Kennedy Nzechukwu, who Tyler saw as an easier opponent to get Barnett back on track. He correctly picked Abus Magomedov
to defeat Brunno Ferreira which he did via submission. The last matchup in the prelims was disappointing for Tyler to see the great
Rafael Dos Anjos getting knocked out by Geoff Neal.
We go over the main card as Tyler was most impressed by Shara Magomedov knocking out Armen Petrosyan with a double spinning back fist, which will most likely win the knockout of the year award. Both of us have seen spinning back fists thrown, I have never witnessed one land, and this dude hit a double. Amazing. Tyler recaps each fight and the two that hurt the most. Robert Whittaker losing by submission in the 3rd round was a heartbreaker. The worst was yet to come when Ilia Topuria destroyed Max Holloway in the first round, and Tyler went to sleep with tears in his eyes.
Procyon Partners and President Sean Rabinowitz were my first sponsors. Sean believed in me, took a chance advertising with us, and I will always be grateful for his support. On November 2nd they are having Bone Marrow testing done at the Branford Cross Fit from 8:30am to 1pm. It’s a quick swab of the cheek and will help provide the treatment Ben needs. Let’s show up for Ben and Be The Match, we need everyone to be tested. Ben is a great kid, with no fear, tougher than a 2-dollar steak, we need to come together because we are a family at UConn.
UConn Football is on the verge of becoming bowl eligible because of Mike Burton and his team been raising money for Bleeding Blue For Good. Donate $400 or $500 dollars, as long as more people give, we will have continued success. I have seen tremendous improvement and the outstanding talent we brought in. Please go to www.bleedingblueforgood.org and donate.
Pete Finch and The Finch Firm LLC is our newest sponsor, and we are thrilled to have Peter. Based in Bridgeport, Connecticut, The Finch Firm can help if you were injured in an accident, arrested, feel your rights have been violated. In a pinch? CALL FINCH!
