Obviously, the answer is yes. Most of cry at some point in our lives. As I thought about this question, I reflected on my journey related to when and how I cry.
When I cry is interesting. Over the years, I’ve learned to trust my body and honor it’s need to “overflow” emotion, so I let her cry when she needs/wants to. BUT for years, I suppressed the tears and would only let them out when I felt safe or when it was appropriate.
So, do you cry…
OR is there a stream of consciousness that says
Wherever you are on this spectrum of crying, today’s spark
question is asking that you take a look at when and why you cry.
If you discover other people’s voices stuck in your thoughts – cast them out! Command that these thoughts/beliefs no longer have a place in your mind.
If you discover that it’s scary to cry, to express
vulnerability and deep emotion then be kind, compassionate and sit in the awareness. Let your inner truth speak and see if you can uncover the truth and allow it a space within you.
Crying is a natural expression of the body. Tears help remove things (dust, eyelash) from our eyes. Could tears also be a way to remove energy or stuckness from our body?
