Description

A Pyrrhic victory is a term used to describe a situation where a person or group achieves success or victory at a significant and often unsustainable cost, rendering the triumph essentially meaningless or counterproductive. It originates from the ancient Greek king Pyrrhus, who won a costly battle against the Romans but suffered heavy casualties that weakened his army to the point of near defeat.

Winning at any cost might not be worth it. A Pyrrhic Victory
is one where the price of success outweighs the benefits. 🏆💸
