In this episode I use the stupid fucking dress that AOC wore to the gala the other night as an example as to how the ruling class elites use popular sentiment and slogan nearing to try to convince the masses that they actually intend on changing things. But in fact we as communists know that as contradictions rise and consciousness begins to heighten the re-formation and re-organization of the ruling class is necessary, and this is precisely what is happening in front of our eyes. They are not changing, they are restructuring. As Joe Biden said, “ nothing will fundamentally change.” And this is also the case when folks like AOC get performative and do dumb shit like this.
