I recently had a conversation with someone who tried to convince me that Capitalism has actually created much better situations for people all over the world, and in fact has pulled people out of poverty. They even sent me a graph (which I posted on my instagram) which they then used to make this claim. I am dedicating this episode to them, my argument against that illogical and unreasonable assertion.
