In day to day life we’re taught and expected to believe that the Global South is inevitably poor and will remain that way forever - but is that true? What has the global South done for humanity? Have they always just been subjected to slavery, colonialism and imperialism? Have they had other histories? And what did/do they do as they resist oppression and fight for liberation?
