Description

Today we hear a quick story about 2 lumberjacks. One who chops wood all day and the other who leaves for an hour every day to sharpen his ax.

Even though they begin and end the day at the same time, the one who stops for an hour a day continually out chops the first.

Two key take aways from this story are:

1. Sometimes you need rest in order to get farther ahead. Your body and mind need time to recover in order to be at their best and maximize their activity.

2. How are you sharpening your ax. If you want to do more you must become more. How are you growing? What are you doing for your personal and professional development?
