Description

Welcome to the “Nothing is Wrong with You” book podcast.

Today, we share our thoughts about when to abandon a book and discuss the factors that go into that hard decision.  We discuss the current quandaries we face regarding the decision to let it go! And we encourage our listeners to allow themselves the freedom to abandon a book that isn’t speaking to them.

Book we recommend

Rabbit Heart by Kristine S. Ervin

(as mentioned in the podcast - please note this book addresses sexual assault and murder)

Books Rebecca is currently reading:

Gliff by Ali Smith

Feijoa: A Story of Obsession & Belonging by Kate Evans

Feeding Ghost: A Graphic Memoir by Tessa Hulls

Scotland (still!) by Magnus Magnusson

Books Colleen is currently reading:

Small Boat by Vincent Delecroix

Book of Alchemy by Suleika Jaouad

Sad Tiger by Neige Sinno

Books Athena is currently reading:

The Names by Florence Knapp

Deadly Animals by Marie Tierney

The Book of Records by Madeleine Thien

Thank you for joining us.

Three avid readers (Rebecca, Colleen, and Athena) host a podcast about being a reader to investigate their interactions with books: this includes a close look at books that people rave about, and we couldn’t even finish, and why we continue to follow writers when we have only liked their early books. It is also a place where we shine a light on the unseen or underappreciated books we fell in love with.
