When the world hit pause during COVID, some sat still — others pushed forward. Arden Hart chose the latter.
From touring with well-known bands to staring down an empty calendar, Arden found himself with nothing but time… and he used it wisely. He turned his attention to property, and what followed was bold, brave, and a little bit bonkers.
His first purchase? Done entirely over the phone. No viewings. Never been to the area. No boots on the ground. Just belief. Bold doesn't quite cover it.
Fast forward, and Arden’s now built a tidy little portfolio up in the North East of England. But as always in property, it’s not all plain sailing.
What started as a chat about strategy quickly turned into a deeper dive — the emotional side of investing. It’s something we’ve both been guilty of: buying with the heart instead of the head. It’s a trap, especially for new investors, and one we’ve seen far too many fall into.
That’s why we keep banging the drum: structure, systems, and process. They’re not the sexy side of property, but they’re the reason portfolios stay strong and cashflow keeps flowing.
