I was pleased this week to be joined by David Bailey, one of the founders of the SEPDC group I am lucky enough to be a part of. Dave talks us this week through how he has gone from being a landscape architect working on projects such as the London Olympics 2012 to working on using a clear strategy to achieve his long term goals from property. David's portfolio currently includes high end HMO's and land development opportunities in the Chelmsford, Essex area BUT this story comes with a twist that initially David was totally against HMO's!!!!
What an interesting insight from a local developer on his progression and how he has established his company with, lettings, land and developments. But for David who gets a ''kick'' out of looking for the opportunities that require some creativity to make a deal happen like the back land sites or the utilisation of permitted development rights.
