From a young age, Selva dreamed of becoming a doctor, but what she didn't foresee was leaving her close-knit family behind to start a new life in a distant land. In Selva's own words - "I think we should all at some stage in our lives, come out of our comfort zones and be brave in exploring our potential. And that doesn't necessarily mean moving countries. It can be moving jobs, moving states, you know, taking a new degree, going to a completely new place and starting all over. I think it just opens your eyes...."
