Megamind (2010) is an animated comedy that cleverly subverts traditional superhero tropes by following its titular blue-skinned alien supervillain. After years of failing to defeat his nemesis Metro Man, Megamind finally succeeds - only to find himself purposeless in a city without a hero. To fill this void, he creates a new hero named Titan using Metro Man's DNA, but this plan backfires when Titan becomes a genuine threat to Metro City. Throughout the film, Megamind develops feelings for reporter Roxanne Ritchi and gradually discovers that being a villain isn't his true calling.
