I was writing in ink so I was taking a few minutes gathering my thoughts on what I wanted to say to each of them before putting my pen to the card and instead of focusing on words praising them for the great job they did at their performance (which would have totally been speaking in faith at this point haha since the performance hadn’t even happened) and it would be the first performance for the younger granddaughter so her parents weren’t even 100 percent sure she’d make it to the stage.
