We will be looking at 12 examining traits of the believer who have put their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, obeys God's commandments, and is growing in grace. Folks, we cannot deceive ourselves into believing that we have fellowship with God, and still be in willful, deliberate, practicing sin! We must not be deceived! In the life of the true born-again believer, there will evidence of a decreasing pattern of sin in his or her life. Here is what John says:
“No one who lives in [Christ] keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him” (1 John 3:6)
and
“We know that God’s children do not make a practice of sinning, for God’s Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot touch them” (1 John 5:18). A Word from the Lord: The Lord Jesus Christ says that we are to come out of our sin, for there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth! Today is the day that you harken unto the voice of the Lord and you must repent! Jesus says that He is on His way back and His reward will be with Him! He will give to every man according to his deeds and according to his ways. He says to turn and come to Him while there's still a chance; open the door and seek Me with your whole heart! Folks, as we are living in these last days, we must not let sin have dominion over our lives. Jesus defeated sin and abolished its control in our lives! Therefore, we must live holy and we must live righteously until Jesus comes back, or we go by the way of the grave. There is nothing on this earth worth you going to for! You must be born again, you must turn from your wicked ways and turn to God! Those who are in the faith, you must remain faithful and endure until the end! For we will not escape Jesus' righteous judgement if we don't forsake sin! Live holy! “Produce fruit in keeping with repentance” (Matthew 3:8). 🎯 Repent and believe and turn back to God!
