Absolutely! As followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we strive to live a life characterized by RIGHTEOUSNESS. We no longer make excuses to defend willful sin. We no longer indulge the flesh in it's desires. We long to please the Father by doing those things (bearing good fruit in keeping with our repentance) that honor and glorify His Name in Christ! The Lord Jesus Christ teaches us, "My Father is glorified and honored by this, when you bear much fruit, and prove yourselves to be My [true] disciples" (John 15:8). He also teaches us these biblical truths in John 15:1-2; 6:
"I am the true Vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that continues to bear fruit, He [repeatedly] prunes, so that it will bear more fruit [even richer and finer fruit]..."6 If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken off] branch, and withers and dies; and they gather such branches and throw them into the fire, and they are burned."
THE WAY TO ETERNAL LIFE IS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS! "And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son" (1 John 5:11). Amen! Live clean. Be holy. Love the brethren. Consider all your ways before the Lord! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
