Through Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection, we should consider ourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus. We are to not let sin control the way we live; we are not to give in to sinful desires. We are not to let any part of our bodies become an instrument of evil to serve sin! Sin is no longer your master! The Bible tells us that if we get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, we are worse off than before! It will be better if we had never known the way to righteousness, then to know it, and THEN reject the command that we were given to live a holy life! For this, we prove the truth of the proverb, that a dog returns back to its vomit! Folks, there's eternal consequences for sin and rejecting Jesus and obeying not the Gospel - it is called the second death - the Lake of Fire🔥🔥! It is the lake that burns with fire and brimstone and there will be no relief for those who rebelled against God and have rejected Jesus as Lord and Savior! We must repent of our sins, BELIEVE that Christ Jesus died for our sins, stop SINNING and turn back to God!
