They prey on the unlearned in the Body with indoctrinations, traditions of men, and false doctrines! We have been commanded to "mark and avoid" those who cause divisions and promote heresies among the brethren! HOWEVER, what we are talking about here, is false accusations that are being launched throughout the Body all "willy-nilly" (haphazardly)! We must call this pseudo-exposé out as well! It is a fine line between messiness and exposing. The Lord Jesus Christ gave us the instruction on how to call the brethren into account: (Matthew 18:15-17) “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.” Amen! THIS IS HOW IT IS DONE! 🚩 What has come to light, is that if you are in this Body, we cannot idolize and put on a pedestal anyone who teaches us the Word of God! We cannot and must not be a fan of people! This is what some are doing: idolizing mere mortals! Because once you find fault with that person, whom you have deemed to be someone "special" in your head, and when they somehow "offend" you, then you want to claim impropriety in their ministry or organization. Where there are unfounded claims, there will always be: pettiness, messiness, slander and extortion! If the brethren is doing wrong, we go to them privately, and we rebuke them or counsel them to repent. What we don't do, is jump up on social media, defaming and assassinating people's character without "receipts!" Don't throw gasoline on a fire claiming this person is a wolf just because you don't like something about their character - that has nothing to do with doctrine. So the question becomes, are you truly loving the brethren or are you just a busybody? Be holy. Live clean. Consider all your ways before the Lord! Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
