Listen, fornication is a nasty, wicked, deceiving sexual sin; we will do well to steer clear from it, AT ALL COST! Paul exhorted us in 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8, that we are to live in a way that pleases God. How that it is God's will for us to be holy; therefore, we are to stay away from all sexual sin. We are to control our bodies and live in holiness and honor, not in lustful passion like the pagans! As we look at 1 Corinthians 6:9-20, we find a number of dreadful things about the nature of fornication, namely: #1 NO FORNICATOR OR ADULTERER WILL INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD!
💥 Beloved, child of God, AND SENSUAL PLEASURE WAS ONLY MEANT TO BE EXPERIENCED BETWEEN TWO COVENANT PEOPLE WHO CAME TOGETHER AS MAN AND WIFE IN HOLY MATRIMONY! OUR BODIES, IN THIS REGARD, WERE MADE FOR A GOD-GIVEN PURPOSE: 👉🏾TO BE PHYSICALLY INTIMATE WITH OUR COVENANT SPOUSE, AS ONE-FLESH. NOT TO BE USED IN WHOREDOM WITH ANY OLE BODY AND ANY OLE THING! OUR BODIES ARE SACRED! NOT TO BE USED AS SOMEBODY'S MATTRESS OR AS A PLAY TOY! You may think that your body is your own, but it's not! It belongs to God. You want to know why? You were bought with a price. Christ's precious blood! So, no! Your body is not yours, it belongs to God! You see, sinners will have you to believe that your body is yours and that no one, not even God Himself, can tell you what to do with it! Oh really? Well, we see the outcome of that delusion, don't we in Romans 1:18-32!
Fornication/sexual immorality destroys the body, through sexual transmitted diseases. It destroys the family. Marriages intended for life, are broken - often beyond repair. It destroys your soul. If left unrepented and unforgiven, there is no hope! Your only expectation, therefore, is of raging fire and judgment! We as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, WE are commanded to flee fornication, now that we are washed in the blood of Jesus, now that we are sanctified, now that we are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God! Amen! Live clean. Be holy! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
