When we obey and listen to Him, He takes great delight! We are called to walk in righteousness and we shall see the Lord! It delights the Father when we, His children, obey. We show Him that we love Him when we obey! Obey and we shall live forever! For the Lord has spoken! He takes us by the hand and leads the way to eternal life. When we follow Jesus, we'll NEVER BE LOST AGAIN!!
We will be looking at Psalm 23 to see how we, INDEED, have a Great Shepherd that makes us, "to lie down in green pastures." He leads us, "beside the still waters." He "restores" our "soul." Leading us, "in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake." Amen!
The Lord Jesus tells us in John 10, "I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His [own] life for the sheep." "The sheep that are My own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they will never, ever [by any means] perish; and no one will ever snatch them out of My hand." Amen!
Therefore, since we know these things, we do not live a life characterized by sin! We believe that Jesus died for our sins on the cross, and He was buried, and on the third day, God raised Him from the dead. He died to sin, being made a sin offering. That means we have been set free from the bondage of sin and it is no longer our master! We by God's amazing grace, reject ungodliness and immoral desires! We live clean. We live holy. And we live lives in obedience to the Father and to the Son, as the Holy Spirit sanctifies us; awaiting for the second coming of our Lord to receive eternal life! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
