💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I exhort: "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God" (study Hebrews 10: 30-31). God is a God of Justice and Righteousness and He will repay all workers of iniquity and lawlessness! We cannot begin to understand God’s justice unless we first understand sin. Sin is lawlessness (1 John 3:4) and iniquity (Daniel 9:4-5; Micah 2:1; James 3:6). It embodies everything contrary to God’s holy nature and is offensive to Him. Thus, sin is a crime against God, and justice demands a penalty of death and separation from Him for it (Romans 1:18-32; 2:5; 3:23). But God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to earth to pay that penalty for us (Romans 5:8-11; 6:23) and made salvation available to all who believe in His Name!
Therefore, we live a life that is NOT characterized by sin, now that we are Spirit-filled and born-again! We do not look to take God's grace as a license to remain in habitual, deliberate, blatant sin! We respect and honor what Christ has done for us on our behalf - saving us from the wrath of God to come!
Beloved, you know the way is straight and narrow that leads to eternal life! Don't let anyone deceive you! The Bible tells us how to live post-salvation: 14" [Live] as obedient children [of God]; do not be conformed to the evil desires which governed you in your ignorance [before you knew the requirements and transforming power of the good news regarding salvation]. 15 But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves in all your conduct [be set apart from the world by your godly character and moral courage]; 16 because it is written, “You shall be holy (set apart), for I am holy" (1 Peter 1).
💥 We are promised that someday, when Christ physically reigns on earth, God’s righteous justice will FINALLY be on full display!! 💥
