The apostle Peter, just like Paul, is telling us to not take God's grace as a license to willfully stay and cover up sin!
💥 DON'T PLAY AROUND WITH GOD'S GRACE, WRONGFULLY USING IT TO COVER UP YOUR MALICIOUS WICKED BEHAVIOR!
Beloved let me ask you, are you excusing your disobedience by claiming to be under grace? Well, we are told not to do that! And many who teach and practice the false doctrine of "eternal security," (OSAS) and the misrepresentation of God's grace, promote and foster disobedient lifestyles among God's people, with the promise of eternal life, regardless of the willful habitual sin in their lives...and disobedient people want it this way! Paul rightly prophesied about them: "3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables" (2 Timothy 4).
The widespread false teaching in the apostate church today is that, you can accept Jesus as your Savior, but that obeying Him as Lord of your life is optional! 😲 We must put aside that nonsense!
💥 STOP SINNING!! WE DON'T TAKE GOD'S GRACE AS A LICENSE TO SIN!!
To better understand 1 Peter 2:16, now that you are free from the bondage of sin, you must consider yourself dead to sin! We do not use our freedom in Christ to indulge in sin, and to use God's grace as a smoke screen to cover up vile, impure and ungodly living!! True saving grace teaches us to reject all ungodliness and worldly immoral desires (study Titus 2:11-14). Deliberately sinning, as a lifestyle, is evidence of your slavery, and you need to examine where you are in the faith, because this should not be so. Instead, use your liberty to honor God! Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
