The Bible tells us exactly why ungodly men/women DELIBERATELY deny the existence of God - it is because of THEIR wickedness and ungodliness! "For ever since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through His workmanship [all His creation, the wonderful things that He has made], so they [who fail to believe and trust in Him] are without excuse and without defense" (Romans 1:20) AMP. It's telling us that man is without excuse about not knowing God, when it is understood that when we look up at the heavens (the sun, moon and stars), day after day, night after night, "The heavens are telling of the glory of God and the (*) expanse [of heaven] is declaring the work of His hands" (Psalm 19:1). "...Their voice [in quiet evidence has gone out through all the earth, their words to the end of the earth" (Psalm 19:4a). 🚩*Firmament - the enclosed crystalized dome that encompasses the earth (think snow globe folks!). (See Psalm 19:4b for reference: "In them and in the heavens He has made a 👉🏾tent for the sun.")
Romans 1:21 tells us, "For even though they knew God [as the Creator], they did not honor Him as God or give thanks [for His wondrous creation]." The footnote to this verse says "Anyone who attributes the existence of the world to chance or to a different creator is already guilty of deliberately rejecting God, because to deny the true God, one must set aside common sense!" Not to mention the warning of 2 Thessalonians 1:7b-9! Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
