Salvation needs to be preached according to the Biblical pattern: Godly sorrow leads to repentance (2 Co 7:10). Repentance leads to salvation which is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Proper balance will spark revival. Improper balance could cause one to enter eternity unprepared!
👉🏾The preaching on repentance is nothing new! John preached repentance:
Matthew 3:2 "And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
👉🏾Jesus preached repentance:
Matthew 4:17 "From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
👉🏾It is the very will of God that everyone come to repentance! Why would God will for everyone to repent if it was not important? Repentance of sin is indeed very important! Why? People who do not REPENT, WILL PERISH! This is stated quite clearly in the Word of God.
2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
Luke 13:5 "I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish."
💥 Therefore, you must repent of your sins, believe and obey the gospel, that Jesus is the Son of God, who died for your sins. Christ Jesus was buried and on the third day, through the power and work of the Holy Spirit, God raised Jesus from the dead! The Lord Jesus Christ is very much alive today seated in Heaven at the right hand of God, making intercessions for us! YOU MUST turn from your sins, OTHERWISE, you will die and go straight to a burning , as you await the Final Judgment!
