The clean life, is a life lived in a godly, consecrated, righteous way - for God is holy. The clean life is lived by those who are committed to following Christ -- the Righteous One who was obedient to the end. The term dirty, represents a "worldly," carnal, self-centered life - chasing after pleasure, possessions, and status! A clean life is lived each day hinged to honesty, truth, love, humility with one another in mind in every way.
1 Peter 1:15-16 "But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. 16 For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.” Amen!
Our Heavenly Father demands and fully expects that those who are associated with Him, those set apart by Him, to be a dwelling place for His Spirit. To be holy as He is holy! This means that we must become, not merely set apart, but set apart and CLEAN!! That means separating ourselves from anyone and anything that is not clean and not pure spiritually as God is. Which often means, we will be hated, ostracized, ridiculed, slandered, and misunderstood. Why? Because we have come out of the "world" and have surrendered our lives, in devotion, to following Jesus and His righteous way of living in the earth, as we await His coming! This is done by Holy Spirit who guides us to spiritual maturity in progressive holiness; making us fit for God's holy purposes. We once were dead spiritually, but have been made alive by God's grace through our faith in Christ (Ephesians 2:5).
The "world" leans toward their own choice of television programs, movies, music, reading materials, etc., which displays explicit vulgar language, evil subject matter, and human sexuality without a filter. This unregenerated "world," who have not God's Holy Spirit, is most certainly dirty! The unbelieving laugh with disbelief when you call men everywhere to repent! They are perishing and don't even know it! For they have rejected Jesus Christ, the only One that could save them from the wrath of God that is to come! Therefore, we have been commanded to not love this Babylonian, Luciferian, Christ-rejecting, lust-driven, pagan, unrepentant world's system that is steeped in sin, covetousness, sensuality, and ungodliness! We are urged in Romans 12:1-2 to: Present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God. Be not conformed to this "world" any longer with its superficial values and satanic allegiance. Be transformed and progressively changed by the renewing of our minds; focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes! Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
