💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I exhort from: James 1:21-22, "So get rid of all uncleanness and all that remains of wickedness, and with a humble spirit receive the word [of God] which is implanted [actually rooted in your heart], which is able to save your souls. 22 But prove yourselves doers of the word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the word but fail to internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth]." Amen!
Therefore, I'M CALLING ALL PRODIGALS TO COME ON BACK HOME! CALLING ALL THE FATHER'S LIGHTS (His born-again children) OUT OF THE "WORLD!!" We are dealing with an epidemic! Many who have confessed Jesus' Name, are not doers of the Word, but rather are careless listeners! They have gone back out into the "world" and have lost their way. While out in the "world," (that system ran by Satan, with its contrived and deceitful scheme of phony values, worthless pursuits, and unnatural affections, that is designed to lure us away from a pure relationship with God) they still claim they are children of God, but their lives and lifestyles are characterized by deliberate willful sin! So we are dealing with the topic of SPIRITUAL ADULTERY (WHOREDOM)! God hates for His children, both Israel and New Testament saints, to be attached to this "world," FORSAKING HIS LOVE, and defying His precepts and commands!
Also, we must not be deceived, believing in Jesus means OBEYING Jesus! Many who believe only and do not live changed lives, will not see, nor have any share in the Kingdom of God! They will not inherit eternal life! And I know for many of you, you are shell-shocked right now! Because your favorite beloved "Pastor" or "Bishop" keeps telling you all that you have "eternal security," and that no matter how you live life today, you are assured entrance into the Kingdom! But is that true? Do you automatically have eternal life just because you've said some unbiblical, unscriptural "sinners prayer?" Just because the "man of God" declared you to be saved when he called you to the altar to make a confession for Christ? But then you went right back home to your live-in lover. Back to your weed smoking. Back to your adultery and idolatry. Right back to you drinking like a drunkard, lying, stealing, gossiping, murdering, slandering and the like. Can you honestly say to God, you are His child and therefore you have inheritance of His Kingdom?
23 "For if anyone only listens to the word without obeying it, he is like a man who looks very carefully at his natural face in a mirror; 24 for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he immediately forgets [c]what he looked like. 25 But he who looks carefully into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and faithfully abides by it, not having become a [careless] listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he will be blessed and favored by God in what he does [in his life of obedience]" (James 1).
Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
