Having moral courage, is to stand for what is right against all opposition and every adversity. Following Jesus and carrying this great Gospel, that will offend those who are living foul, demands having a spiritual backbone!! Having the conviction of faith and willingness to STAND and LIVE by faith! We cannot be cowards when we are standing flat-footed in the truth of God's Word: opposing sin and those who live in it. Moral cowardice fears consequences of standing for truth. Moral courage will not compromise with sin. Moral courage trusts in God. Sin must not be tolerated for the sake of peace…for the sake of a job, relationships, etc.
Living a life of morality and having moral courage in the face of hostility from the secular world and self-righteous brethren, takes discipline. It takes listening to Jesus, obeying His voice, and following Him! It takes living a life that is not rife with unbridled, unrestrained, wickedness! It is living a life that is not characterized by willful, deliberate, blatant, knowing sin! It is living a sensible, upright, and godly life, reflecting spiritual maturity as we await the coming of our Lord! Amen! Be holy. Live clean. Consider all your ways before the LORD! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
