💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I exhort: “Walking in the light” is directly related to following Jesus, who said, “I am the Light of the world. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but have the Light of life” (John 8:12). Fallen humanity by and large, cannot have "the Light of the world," for they rather have their darkness more and have, decidedly, rejected the Lord Jesus Christ! Even more tragic, is when God's children, who are filled with His Holy Spirit, want the darkness more rather than being fully committed faithfully to the One who died and shed His blood for the forgiveness of their sins!
Let me say it again, OSAS IS THE BIGGEST LIE COMING OUT OF THE APOSTATE CHURCH! It's not hard to comprehend beloved, now that we are born-again by God's Holy Spirit, we live a life of obedience and faithfulness that will back up our faith! The command from Lord Jesus is to "go, and sin no more!" He then says in the next verse, "... “I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows me will 👉🏾never walk in darkness, but will have the Light of life” (John 8:11-12) Amen! We all know that Christ Jesus died for our sins, but we are commanded to live as obedient children throughout our time in the earth (study 1 Peter 1:14-18). Going forward, having been forgiven, we sin no more! Christ Jesus told the adulterous woman to "go, and sin no more." Well, He's telling us the same thing today! We ain't supposed to be willfully, deliberately, sinning, now that we are in Christ! This is not about sinless perfection, but walking/living crucified lives on the path that is straight and narrow daily (study Matthew 7:14)! Sadly, many Christians today are not truly following Jesus, they've made a confession for Christ, but never turned from sin completely!
This what makes that false doctrine, once saved/always saved so dangerous and damnable, it teaches wrongly that all we have to do is "believe" in Jesus, no work of obedience is required, because otherwise, that's legalism! It propagates the dogma of "live your best worldly disobedient life ever" throughout your stay in the earth, while obstinately hiding under grace to do it! It lulls them into a false sense of eternal security! That it is solely on Jesus to maintain their salvation, whereby, all they have to do is enjoy the free "grace ride," but never putting that flesh under subjection! God forbid!!
Listen, our part in our sanctification is "working" out our salvation with fear and trembling (study Philippians 2:12-13). We're not "working" to earn salvation, we're walking in compliance with it! Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
