💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I exhort Jesus' question: “Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not practice what I tell you? Jesus says that everyone who comes to Him and listens to His words and obeys them, is like a far-sighted, practical, and sensible man who builds his house on a solid Rock (Him). Conversely He says, "the one who has [merely] heard and has not practiced [what I say], is like a [foolish] man." (Study Luke 6:46-49).
Beloved, how can people who claim that Jesus is their Lord and Savior, say that every day they repent of their sins? Every night before they go to bed, they ask God to forgive them of the SINS they'd committed throughout the day? This can only mean one thing: they have never repented! They have never started following Jesus and walking in obedience. Repentance is not an "apology mechanism," having no intention of change. Biblical repentance is a turning of mind and to go in the opposite direction. It means to turn away from your former wicked lifestyle and to live for Jesus, ...it means you "sin no more." (Study John 8:11-12).
This is why I'm doing a sort of Q&A on the podcast today. Some questions and answers needs to be addressed. Could this be you, who is not taking what Christ has done on your behalf seriously? If you are indeed born again, you do know that you have died to sin and now you're living for Jesus, right? If you had died to sin, how could you live in it any longer, if in fact, you had died to it? If you have turned away from sin, how could you go back to sin? It is like a dog who goes back to its own vomit. Dear friend, you may have never repented!
Christ Jesus settles all foolish notions about how one can call themselves followers, but then don't obey Him. It's not possible to follow Jesus and still walk in spiritual darkness. No child born of God, continues to practice willful, deliberate, habitual sin!!

"No one who abides in Him [who remains united in fellowship with Him—deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin. No one who habitually sins has seen Him or known Him." 1 John 3:6 Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
