💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I exhort: Don't get caught up in the deception and destructive heresies of false teachers and prophets!! We must be aware that there is nothing new about false teachers, thus you should not be surprised when you run into one. It is not a new thing if one is in your church. Yes, it is always upsetting to hear someone mangling the Word of God or preaching a false gospel. But, there is a reason why the Bible warns us many times to be on guard for the charlatans, fake apostles, and apostate teachers - so you won't not be led astray and fall into the same pit of as they! These depraved ungodly ones, who are deprived of the truth, are always on the prowl trying to tear down God’s people!
We know that there are many cults and false teachers. We must also know that there are quite a few people who call themselves prophets, apostles or anointed of God who ARE NOT! Your church may be led by one of these clouds without water as Jude calls them. They are men and women who look and sound the part of godly leaders, but don’t deliver the real Word of God. They preach doctrines of demons instead. They may even be in your church poised to wreak havoc. If they are, you are not obligated to stay!
The Bible is very clear that we must always be on guard against false teachers, more so as we see Jesus’ return coming. Are you testing your teachers against the Word of God? Have you examined the spirit behind them? Can you recognize the howl, aka, characteristics of a wolf-in-sheep's-clothing? Well that's what we'll be talking about today!
